November 10th, 2023 DESCENTE X AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI co-branded series of products by Descente and Lamborghini, the renowned leading Italian super sports car brand, the two companies have come together to launch their global collection. With insights into the world of wind and snow, the designs exceed expectations, combining exclusive technology with craftsmanship to help ski enthusiasts enjoy high speeds and keep the cold at bay on the slopes.

Descente 's dedication to creating professional skiwear with the original idea of "it all starts with skiing" coincides with Lamborghini's relentless pursuit of design aesthetics and super sports car performance. This season's co-branding brings the pursuit of speed to the ski slopes as well, with details like body lines, iconic logos and other super sports car elements. At the same time, Descente 's exclusive fit and technical fabrics make every move on the slopes as easy as possible, in pursuit of the ultimate speed experience.

S.I.O Minimum Pattern

The jacket and pants are crafted with Descente's S.I.O pattern engineering resulting from years of speed competition wear research and development. The collection perfectly represents Descente's "design by functionality" philosophy, in which design without functionality is merely "decoration". The concept of "Minimalism" removes unnecessary decorations, leaving a fusion of functional features as the pure design elements. Directly designing with a single piece of fabric on a moving body minimizes the number of pattern pieces, maximizes comfort and optimizes performance. This approach maximizes the benefits of "functionality, reducing garment weight and improving ease of movement. A reduction in the number of sewn seams improves waterproofing and mobility, rounding out the enhanced aesthetics of the finished garment.

Breathable System

Introducing Descente's new Breathable System, which keeps the body comfortable by ensuring airflow within the garment and venting excess moisture. This caters to the needs of athletes engaged in strenuous activities in varying locations, climates and seasonal temperature differences. The exhaust vents located on the upper back work in conjunction with pit zips on the sides to promote the release of excess humidity from inside the garment while maintaining full skiwear windproof, waterproof and insulation properties. Vertical front pockets have top and bottom opening zippers to access vents for additional airflow.

Extreme sports wear conventionally places top priority on protecting the wearer in rough environments. Until now. STREAMLINE

3D printed lines strategically placed on chest, sleeves and sides of garments to control the flow of surface moisture in bad weather conditions, and channel water and snow away from pockets and hands.

HEATNAVI

This proprietary technology developed by Descente converts infrared rays from sunlight into stored heat, even in adverse conditions.

high spec, seam-welded down Jacket, supplied to the Swiss National Team for the 2023 winter season. The irregular arrangement of internal lines of adhesive tape are not only a design element, but also help maintain the down loft. The built-in BREATHABLE SYSTEM, including on the back of the jacket, ensures both high heat retention as well as ventilation. The BREATHABLE SYSTEM is an efficient ventilation system keeping the inside of the garment consistently comfortable.
